YM Resource is for ANYONE who loves teenagers and wants to help them grow in the Lord. You don't need to be a full-time paid youth worker to use this site. Volunteers, teachers, ministers, and pastors alike can all benefit from the ideas on this website.

YM Resource is different because it offers easy-to-find, creative solutions for youth worker's needs. The ideas found here can serve as a stepping stone for discussions, a great opener for Bible class, or a game to tie it all together.

Perhaps the main difference is that you can search two different ways: by topic AND by verse. There are several websites that offer topical lessons and ideas, but we discovered a need to search for ideas that illustrated a specific verse or passage.

At YM Resource, you can type in a book of the Bible, the book's abbreviation, or an actual verse in the search engine and have results immediately.

All the ideas you see on this website have been submitted by those working with teens. These are proven ideas already used in classes, retreats, devotionals, mission trips, etc. to help students understand the God's Word better.

Yes! The purpose of this site is to have quick, creative ideas easily accessible. You can quite literally find an idea in 60 seconds!

If you need an idea based upon a particular Bible verse, use the search engine. If you need an idea based upon a topic, try the Idea Database first. If you don't find it there, use the search engine.

You choose!  You can view the idea database or find something you like in the Marketplace.

Other Questions

No, you do not have to contribute any ideas in order to be a member. However, it is always appreciated for our members to pass on ideas so the rest of our community can benefit from them.

To contribute your idea, you must be logged in. Please follow the instructions below:

1. Fill out the Submission form.
2. We will place it in an appropriate category (Hope, Trust, Faith, etc.).
3. Click the "Submit" button to save and submit your idea.
4. Your idea requires final approval from YMResource.com administrators before being published and viewed on this website.

We have two resource sections that we update regularly:  Freebies and Great Articles.

In "Great Articles", you will find links to great articles from many different authors, bloggers, & ministers.

In "Freebies", you will find free graphics, ebooks, videos, and more from various suppliers.

Marketplace (Purchaser) Questions

Some items are purchasable on this website; some are only available on Amazon.com.  No registration or PayPal account is necessary to purchase an item.  Simply follow these steps:

1. Select the item you wish to buy and Click on the "Checkout" button
2. You will be redirected to a PayPal page to complete your purchase. 
3. You will be taken to our PayPal page where you can complete your purchase. PayPal account is not required, but a credit/debit card is required.
4. You will be redirected to a "Downloads" page to access your files.  You will also receive a confirmation email at the email address you provided at the checkout.

Currently, our only payment method is PayPal. No PayPal account is required to complete a purchase.

Because all purchases are digital goods, we are unable to refund your money. However, we do want the best materials in the Marketplace so if you have a complaint about a particular product or vendor, please contact us with your concerns.

Marketplace (Seller) Questions

To sell items, you must be a member of our community of sellers.

Follow these instructions to begin the simple process:

1. Fill out the form on Marketplace page telling us about your idea or product.
2. We will follow up with any clarifiying questions.
3. You will be given a location to upload your zipped files (This ensures it is scanned and does not contain any malware).
4. Your product will go through our review process and you will be contacted.
5. Finally, you set the price for your product and it is listed on our site.

Vendors/sellers can sell curriculum, eBooks, Bible Studies, Small Group series, Camp/Retreat materials, and more. Items appearing in the Marketplace are based upon the sole discretion of YM Resource. YM Resource reserves the right to reject any material deemed offensive, inflammatory, irreverent, or otherwise unsuitable for this website.

If you have a question concerning if your material is suitable or not, it is most likely not. However, you are welcome to contact us to ask.

Vendors/sellers are required to provide their phone number and mailing address for payment purposes.

It is not required to provide graphics with your materials. However, it is in your best interests and makes your item more marketable if you do.

If you would like to hire YM Resource to create graphics for your material, contact us and we will negotiate a price. Fees vary by item type and price.

There is no cost to list items in the YMR Marketplace. If your item sells, your account will be credited the sales price minus 18-30% (This amount includes all credit card fees, local & state sales tax, and hosting, marketing, and maintenance costs). The fee is a sliding scale based on the sales price. Contact us for more information  

Yes. When you submit your material, you determine at what price you would like to sell it. You may change this price up to 3 times a year by contacting us. YM Resource may advise you to raise or lower your price based on various factors, but the ultimate decision is yours.

Every fiscal quarter, we will distribute payments to the email address provided when you submitted material. If you do not have a PayPal account attached to that email, you will need to create one. You do not need a PayPal account to receive funds, but you will need one to access those funds.

Any fiscal quarter that finds accounts credited with $25 or more, those accounts will receive a distribution of funds. If your account does not have more than $25, you will not receive a distribution that particular quarter.

If you choose to close your account with us for any reason, simply contact us. We will confirm your wishes to close your account via email and/or phone call. After confirmation, you will receive the total amount of earnings in your account within 60 days via PayPal or check.
