How to END Your Sermon
- 1652
When you get the chance to speak to the congregation, at a special event, or even to your own youth group, you want to be sure that it's done well. Thus, there are important factors that come into play to ensure that your sermon is on-target. A lot of times we focus more on how we will start and eventually apply the message rather than how we END it. Seeing as that's probably what your students are going to remember as they walk out the door, our ending should be just as focused and powerful as the rest of the message (if not more!).
Rachel Blom, blogger and founder of Youth Leaders Academy, has some pointers on how to end a message well. You can also see her thoughts on how NOT to start, how long to speak, etc.
