It's great to see those who are just getting started in youth ministry.  They're excited, got fresh ideas, and have not become jaded (like some of us!) quite yet.  But it is also important to realize that those of us who have been in ministry a number of years have some wisdom to pass on.  And that's what Joshua Griffin, High School Pastor at Saddleback Church, does in his article about tips for starting young youth workers.
